Welcome from PHPS' Head of Â鶹ÊÓƵ
Welcome to the 2026–2027 academic year! The beginning of the school year is a time of energy, hope, anticipation, and optimism. It is so nice to once again experience our hallways filled with laughter, our classrooms teeming with curiosity, and our playground packed with joy and excitement. All of these familiar beginning-of- school year sights and sounds remind me of how truly special this community is.
This particular school year holds a deeply personal significance for me. As I shared last winter, the 2026-2027 school year will be my final year serving as PHPS Head of Â鶹ÊÓƵ. While my upcoming departure brings a wave of mixed emotions to me personally, I feel genuine excitement for what lies ahead for our students, our faculty, our families, and our school.
Rather than looking backward, this year is about the future. It is a time to consider the journey ahead and the momentum the school has right now. Together with our dedicated Board of Trustees and the school leadership team, we are committed to ensuring the 2026-2027 school year is academically rigorous, joyful, and stable. We are fully prepared to deliver the exceptional educational experience you expect, while simultaneously laying the groundwork for a smooth leadership transition.
PHPS students are capable, talented, and bright. Recognizing the gifts each student brings to our school will always be a hallmark of PHPS. We are dedicated to laying a foundation for academic success, social-emotional growth, personal integrity, and leadership capacity. I look forward to celebrating our students’ successes every single day of this school year.
I am deeply grateful for the engagement of our parents and alumni families. This is a unique and caring community because of the partnership, trust, and dedication to our school’s values that we all share. We have a wonderful school year ahead of us, and it will be filled with many milestones to celebrate and many memories to cherish.
Sincerely,
Dr. Nicole Bell
